In our continued efforts to support the Bowie Interfaith Pantry, Village will be “adopting a shelf” for breakfast bars. We ask that you pick up a package when you go to the store and drop it in the collection box. Other non-perishable items will continue to be accepted.
Village will be holding our annual Church Picnic on September 21. We will worship outside under a tent and then share a covered dish luncheon. This is a great opportunity to get to know new Villagers.
If you’re interested in learning more about gardening, plan to attend one of our upcoming
garden classes taught by Esther Mitchell. Esther is a Master Gardener employed at the Soil
Conservation Board and has offered to teach basic gardening classes at Village later this
fall.
